For nearly forty years, Gatesbield Quaker Housing Association has been providing accommodation in Windermere for supported, independent living, in our 19 purpose-built flats. We have just completed three more delightful, newly converted flats (2 fully accessible) available in ‘Craft Cottage’ (above). Suitable for single people or couples aged 55 or over. Open to all* - no connection with Quakers is needed.

November Update: After delays due to the Coronavirus pandemic, these flats are now completed and we now are welcoming our new tenants.

* A small number of Tenancies at Gatesbield are nominated by Cumbria County Council’s Adult Social Care Team and Gatesbield is also obliged to ensure that a minimum number of our Tenants were previously locally resident.
